Offshore Drilling Polls of Florida Voters7/2/08 When John McCain reversed his views on supporting offshore drilling... here is what the punditry said to justify their claim that it would hurt McCain in the state:
But what the punditry did not have access to was real life scientific polls of Florida voters because if they did, they would have realized that Florida supports offshore drilling. This is supported by two polls that we have recently released today.
So McCain is on the correct side of this issue with respect to public opinion... and we can expect him to stress this point as November approaches.
