The Politico is reporting that Obama will be running TV ads in Arizona, North Dakota, and Georgia. If you wonder why, just check out the polls. The race is tight in Arizona. The weekly average shows that McCain is only 4% ahead in his home state. Research 2000 also shows that McCain would lose his re-election bid in 2010 to the current Governor Napolitano in a hypothetical matchup.

The weekly average of polls in Georgia show that McCain is up by about 3% but as Research 2000 found out, Obama is ahead by 15% among those that have already voted.

And surprisingly, Obama is close in Montana and North Dakota.

So despite the fact that McCain may be closing in a bit in Pennsylvania, his hopes of winning this election has become really narrow.
