The Big10 and Quinnipiac University polls confirm what we have been reporting the past couple of days. John McCain is over. (LINK)

So the Republican surrogates, in defense of a losing campaign, are shooting themselves in the foot.

Bacchman, a congresswoman from Minnesota called Obama an anti-American. Her opponent for congress just raised $2 million dollars and just might possibly oust her from her seat. Bonehead.

She says she walked into a trap. You decide for yourself.

Laura Ingraham's advice to John McCain is that he should "make sure people understand that a unified Democratic government... will be absolutely leftist run amuck. They will not have checks on them, social spending will go through the roof, we will not have the same forward looking muscular foreign policy... I believe all of America will see this."

Scare tactics. It is no doubt that our economy will continue to falter over the next couple of years regardless of who the president is. So the Republicans need to plant seeds out there saying the economy will get worse if Obama is elected... Even though it is already pretty likely that it will happen. This is all in the name of 2012. Sounds like the Republicans plan on blaming Obama for the economic mess that may or may not exist in 2012.

John McCain has not done a very good job running his campaign and many true Conservatives will decide to stay home -- since they did not like him to begin with. But that will not teach Mccain a lesson. That will not teach the Republican party a lesson. A better alternative would be to vote for Bob Barr, the Libertarian candidate.

The Republicans will lose the presidency and forfeit even more control in the House and Senate to the Democrats anyways. You might as well send a sign to the Republican party that they should be the party of limited government.
