Americans Agree That Every American Should Attend A Post Secondary School5/7/09 Tags: Education From Rasmussen (conducted: 5/4-5/09)
» Commentary by Kris Lazaro (registered Democrat) A post-secondary education is very important to the progress and advancement of a society. In a recent Rasmussen telephone survey, Americans were asked whether or not every American should go to a post-secondary institution. Americans agree with this author in that it is quite necessary for everyone to go to college (56% of those polled said that every American should attend college or a technical/trade school). An educated population is one that will always advance and create opportunity. If this country wants to improve upon itself it must always educate its young and encourage its students to go to a post-secondary insitution. Those countries who deprive its students of education often stunt its own growth. Likewise, these countries become economically unstable and scientically deprived. It is the hope of this author that the United States continue to encourage its citizens to pursue higher education and help contribute to the advancement of this great country.
