» Commentary by Kris Lazaro (registered Democrat)

According to a recent Rasmussen telephone poll survey, Americans want new energy sources to satisy the current energy demands of the nation, instead of conservation of our current supply.

To this author, this is the wrong type of thinking. It is true that we need to develop new forms of energy production, but we also need to conserve. We have been so overly lavish for so many years and so wasteful of our own resources that we forget that we are the stewards of this Earth. We all need to conserve our resources so that future generation will be able to enjoy what we have now.

Conservation should play a bigger role in all our lives, not greed and excess.
