Americans Want Stimulus Plan To Pass2/3/09 Tags: Obama, Economy From Gallup (conducted: 1/30-2/1/09)
» Commentary by Kris Lazaro (registered Democrat) As the Congress considers President Obama's new economic stimulus plan, many Americans are thirsting for the new plan to pass. In a new Gallup poll conducted this week, 75% say that it should pass with only 17% saying that it should be rejected. Americans are tired of the last 8 years and are now craving some sort of change. This stimulus, although a temporary solution, should start the gears of change and should propel this administrations' efforts into transforming this ailing economy. President Obama will surely be awaiting a positive response from Congress as jobs are being lost daily and our economy sinks into further disarray.
