» Commentary by Kris Lazaro (registered Democrat) A recent Gallup poll suggests that economic patriotism is increasing, at least in the car industry, as more and more people are now considering US-made vehicles. As our economy tanks, any semblance of good news is a welcome sign: this new finding shows that we are starting to rely on each other and help our own. Although US car companies may not make the best cars and are not the most fuel efficient, buying American now will take new meaning.
