The economy is starting to get back on track, as more and more Americans are believing the aforementioned hypothesis. In a recent Rasmussen poll Americans were asked about what they thought about the economy. Surprisingly those who thought the economy was getting better was increasing, at a clip of 25%. Those who thought the economy was getting worse checks in at 51%.

The funny thing about the economy is that it is partially based on perception. Although there are clear indicators of the health of the economy, part of it is based on consumer confidence. As more and more people feel it is safe to invest and spend, the economy will once again start rolling.

This poll is a welcome sign of Americans' economic anxiety. We will get through this, but in the meantime we all must remain positive and continue to drive this economy forward.
