Despite the failing economy, people would still rather go out, have dinner, and have a good time, instead of just buying flowers and candy and save money.

Valentine's Day is a day for lovers and notwithstanding the economy completely failing, people have chosen love over money.

In the end, Americans are still willing to forego economic stress for love. Truly, love conquers all.
