Military Action Against North Korea Favored6/20/09 Tags: Foreign Affairs From NBC News, Wall Street Journal (conducted: 6/12-15/09)
» Commentary by Kris Lazaro (registered Democrat) Net approval for military action against North Korea has jumped a sum of 9% since 2006. When Americans feel that their lives are threatened, they are willing to go at all lengths to feel safe. And military action against North Korea is now supported because of Pyongyang's latest actions. They sentenced two American reporters to labor prison camps. They are testing missiles. They are defying the UN. All despite global pressure to stop. It is not Obama's fault for North Korea to act as they are BUT it seems highly likely that this is a test of his resolve. A rogue regime with evil intents would want to test any new leaders' resolve. But it is clear from the 2008 election that the American people put far more trust in Obama to handle these global issues than they did with a John McCain.
